The Birthday Boy.

It's the Captain's the birthday and it's basically been birthday celebrations all week. 

Except for the night when I subjected him to "nesting" sallie and forced him to "have fun" cleaning out his office. 

We survived and he still loves me. 

Birthday plans include: 

Free Krispy Kreme Donuts

Lazy River lunch break. 

Out to dinner...Captains choice. 

4 layer, 14 hour cake that he claims is the only cake that deserves the title "Cake"

Olympic Party complete with the OLYMPICS!

And then finally heading off to Utah where I believe Mimi has her own birthday surprises as well. 

It's going to be a busy birthday. 

Also, our family has a couple of birthday rules that I thought you would like to know. 

1. the Captain is not allowed to touch ANY of his presents. In fact, I don't even let him look at them because I promise, If he looks at them too long, he will know what it is. 

This morning, he picked up a gift from his parents and within 2 seconds, he knew what it was (and he loved it!) 

2. Cake. It's a big deal. Everybody taking part in the eating of the birthday cake gets 1 piece. And the birthday person gets the rest. 

The Captain takes this rule very seriously. 

3. Birthday Freebies are a must.
